5 men’s trends from last Spring/Summer 2025 Fashion Shows

It starts to get cold and rainy, but hey, what’s better to think already ahead to next summer? New trends for next season comes with less opulence, but elegance and, above all, playfulness were noticeable everywhere. “Don’t take yourself too seriously” was the motto of this men’s fashion marathon, and here you are the main spring/summer 2025 to know and incorporate into your wardrobe.

Polo shirt, but make it fashion – The polo is a very classic silhouette from the man wardrobe, but this season, designers spiced it up. At Fendi they were asimmetric, at Prada and Loewe, extra skinny, shrunken and paired with low-waist, belted trousers. And Gucci’s might not have been overly small, but they were open-knit and tucked into tiny shorts. The goal was the same: to make the dad shirt iper sexy.

Flowers? For Spring? – Yes, flowers for Spring. I know what you are thinking about, but the flowers on the spring/summer 2025 runway weren’t delicate, even though they were pretty. Instead, designers got into bolder, extra colorful and pop versions of the print, especially at Dries Van Noten and Wales Bonner.

Cardigans & Co. – Thinking of a garment as seen everywhere, cardignas stoods out, also for the versatility with which it was interpreted. Dolce&Gabbana conceived it in an oversize version, in straw completely woven by hand, Prada’s reinveted it mini sewn on the shirt , and Giorgio Armani in a chic muscle fit double-breasted version.

Make it transparent – Sheer clothing has dominated menswear collection for next season: bold transparencies from Dries Van Noten, at is final bow with an array of gossamer trousers and tulle trench coats. At Dior, Kim Jones who collabprated with the South African artist Hylton Nel showing a mix of flowers and trasnsparencess and even Louis Vuitton included some elegant sheer knits.

Check is back – As seen last summer 2023 at Prada, the presence of the check print will be strong again next spring/summer. The check adopted different moods on different runways: at Loewe gave as trapeze tunics in a brilliant gingham, while at Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams played on the house’s classic Damier in darker hues.
