JW Anderson unveils its first ever sneakers

After several successful collaborations, JW Anderson sign its very first self-titled sneakers demonstrating its sneaker know-how. The British brand has just announced the arrival of its very first pair of eponymous trainers, a high top style, inspired as he the designer says by “a primitive form of craft where leather meets canvas”. He continues, “I like the way the coarse stitching implies the hand of the maker. I think it balances out the more technical side of designing a trainer. I like that they are rough and more raw.

The result is a pair of trainers in no less than seven colourful versions, each combining deconstruction, craftsmanship and exploded proportions, themes dear to the British designer since his early days.
